The Titan laser works by having the laser’s light react with the water that is in the deep layers of the skin (dermis). The energy released between the light and the water causes the water to heat up. The rise of the skin’s temperature is controlled. It is only raised to a temperature that will cause collagen contraction. (Collagen is a type of protein in the skin. It helps the skin stay strong and supple.) The heat from the laser will cause immediate collagen contraction within the dermis of the skin.
