Opus® Colibri

Nonsurgical Eye Lift and Skin Tightening using Opus® Colibri
Droopy eyelids, medically known as ptosis, can be a cosmetic concern for many people and, in severe cases, may even impair vision. Thankfully, modern advancements in medical technology, like the Opus Colibri, offer a minimally invasive and effective solution to address this issue.
The Opus Colibri eye treatment is a nonsurgical blepharoplasty treatment that tightens the sagging eye skin and rejuvenates the appearance of your eyes without the need for surgery. The delicate skin on the eyelid and undereye areas are treated with radiofrequency and fractional-plasma energy to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, resulting in a more youthful, softened, and alert appearance. This treatment is a highly effective alternative to more invasive surgical procedures without significant downtime.
What are the Benefits?
Minimizes the appearance of drooping or loose skin on the eyelid and undereye areas.
Tightens skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Non-surgical and less expensive than surgery
Builds collagen
Long-lasting results
Who is a good candidate?
The Opus® Colibri treatment is ideal for individuals seeking a non-surgical solution to rejuvenate the skin around the eyes. Candidates include those who:
Have mild to moderate signs of aging — Sagging or loose skin around the eyes; fine lines or wrinkles near the eyes; early signs of drooping eyelids.
Want a non-surgical option — Prefer to avoid invasive surgical procedures like blepharoplasty. Desire minimal downtime and quicker recovery compared to surgery.
Are in good overall health — Do not have serious medical conditions that might impair healing. Are free from active infections or skin conditions in the treatment area.
Have realistic expectations — Understand that results are more subtle compared to surgical procedures, are willing to undergo multiple sessions for optimal results if necessary.
Have not recently had certain treatments — Recent procedures near the eyes may make the skin more sensitive. If you have had an undereye filler treatment, you should wait 4 months before having an Opus Colibri treatment.
How does it work?
What is the downtime?
Because Opus Collibri creates minimal inflammation, the average downtime consisting of pink, blotchy, tight, and dry skin is 1-3 days, and you can resume your normal activities whenever you feel ready. Typically, nobody will notice you had anything done 48 hours post treatment. The following are the phases of skin recovery.
Day 30 to 1 year post treatment – The newly formed collagen fibers form a network, and the skin becomes increasingly stronger. It may take several months for the regeneration phase to complete and for the connective tissue structures to reorganize. This is the treatment that keeps on giving, and results can continue to be seen up to one-year post-treatment.
